We are new to the site and new to the glider family! We recently got our gliders just last month and they are adorable! Two males! We love them tremendously. My son is their caretaker and is bonding slowly but nicely. We are seeing it is a SLOW process especially to one more than the other. They each have their own personalities. We hope to keep them for many, many years to come. Currently we have been emailing their breeder back and forth with questions, but I'm sure she is really busy and we decided to join here and get some advice from some more experts! Our really great breeder told us to feed the gliders a 1 1/2 teaspoon of the HPW diet along with 1 tablespoon of mixed fruits and 1 tablespoon of veggies. I don't think they are eating properly. Sometimes it seems like they don't eat at all. Maybe we give them too much because we aren't exactly measuring out the fruit and veggies like we are the HPW. We are also sprinkling the fruits and veggies with 1/2 tablet of calcium. Is that turning them off to the F & V? I really don't think they have eaten for the past two nights? The HPW is still left in the bowls and the F & V's look the same to me! We leave the food in over night and take it out in the am. Is that the right thing to do? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! We definetly want to make sure they get the right nutrition! We love them and my son adores them!
Thanks.
