I am i wish i was able to bring him home a couple of months ago when i had Daisy, maybe he would have helped her recover from her traumatic experience. why are you trying to get a new home for your male ?
Gyzmo, isnt neutered and i was wondering if i should get him neutered. I have talked to people and they told me the trauma of being neutured for a single suggie can cause depression to make them eat at themselves. I cant get another suggie for awhile but i dont wanna cause him to hurt himself
Andrea, Unless you plan on breeding you should definitely have Gyzmo neutered. Neutering decreases many health concerns such as testicular cancer and has been scientifically proven to minimize aggression in many cases. If you are afraid of post-neuter self mutilation, you should talk to your local veterinarian and discuss your concerns. He might be able to provide you with an E-Collar until the wound from the procedure heals completely. I would definitely recommend Neutering Gyzmo.
