I've decided to go the Reptarium route for my new glider's home. After reading and seeing what a lot of other people have done, I decided to buy the mesh for the 175 gal habitat and build my own structure from PVC piping. I was at Lowe's and apparently they don't make slip on three way corner joints. They only have pieces where there is two slip holes and one threaded holes. But I need them to be all slip holes. For those of you who did build their own reptarium structure, how did you overcome this?
Also, the Lowe's guy mentioned that PVC pipe is used for irrigation and not safe for drinking water. This concerns me. I don't my new little glider to get sick if she bites the pipe. There is also hot and cold PVC pipe which is for drinking water. What materials did people use out there?
Thanks in advance for your input and assistance.
