Forgive me, if this sounds like a silly question.  We are still getting to know our little guys.  They have barked a couple of times at 4 am.  I have read several different things.  One person said they bark when they feel danger.  One said hunger, one said they are happy and the other said they want attention?  Are any of these right?  I would hate to think they are hungry or upset.  I still don't know whether they are getting enough to eat.

Thanks!

They are ALL right.  Its hard to know in the beginning just What they are barking at.  But give it time and you will get to know their different barks for different things.

A great rule of thumb as to telling if they got enough to eat is if they are leaving just a little amount of food in their bowls.  If they clean their plate, add a little.  If they are leaving too much, then cut back on how much you are feeding them.

If I may ask, what diet are you feeding them?

Thanks for the reply.

We are feeding them the HPW diet with the fruit and veggie smoothies.  They have just started licking the HPW almost clean but only eat a little of the fruit and veggies.  I have tried several different types of fruit and veggies.

What do you feed yours?

My Sugar Gliders do the same thing.  But the reason they do it is that my new kitten likes to sit and watch them in their cage and without a fail they always make that little bark.
