Hi!
I come from Slovenia and Sugar gliders are not as common her as they are in U.S.A. for example, so not many people have experience with them.
I have two female sugar gliders (mom and daughter) for about a year now. The baby was born or at least came out of the pouch in our care, not in the store. The mother did a great job and the little baby girl is now big, maybe even bigger then her mother. Now I would like to know if I'm doing a good job feeding them and taking care of them. I woul really like some advice.
I feed them mealworms (big ones and small ones). They love them! Then I feed them comercial baby food (supose to be without suggar) and fresh food. Oh, and somethimes I make my own food for them - I mix a lot of fruit and vegetables together and add some honey. Other than that they get some nuts and dry fruit and I also have Nekton Sugar glider for them wich they get every few weeks. So what do you think is this ok? Oh and I also tryed with dry cat food but they didn't like it... any advice on that?
I think this is quite a good diet but sometimes I get the feeling that I don't feed them enough or that they get the same food over and over again. Could you please give an example what you suggies get every night - like the whole meal?
Thank you very much!
