hard to describe question =/

I'm thinking of getting a pair of bonded sugar gliders.. I'm doing my research before actually getting them. But my question is if I got two.... would I be able to bond with only one of them and my wife bond with the other one yet they live in the same cage together? Is that possible? We both want one but I feel it's silly to have two cages in different rooms, especially because they're social (with each other) creatures.... what would you guys suggest?

Thanks for reading. =) I'm new to the forums so thanks for your time.

My opinion is that bonding is simply not quite like that. They wont imprint on a single person. I would suggest replacing the word "bond" with "tame" in everything you have read. Most typically, a friendly sugar glider will be friendly with any person.

If I were you, I'd keep the pair together, but be sure to neuter the boy.

I agree. They don'd necessarily bond to one person. Me and my fiance tried to do that and they love us both equally. Even when there is someone knew they will jump on them during closet time.
