My glider has a big open sore on his neck about the size of a penny. It looks like someone just took a big bite out of him.
He does not show any pain or limited movement. I have separated him from the 3 other gliders he lives with.

I am taking him to the vet in the morning. Does anybody have any suggestions on treatment until then? The wound does not look infected. It actually looks pretty clean. He cannot bite at it due to it's location.

Oh I am so sorry!  I dont know what causes these wounds. Going to the vet is awesome idea, please make sure they get a swab culture so you can make sure he gets the right antibiotic the first time.  You will have to keep him seperated from his girls until it is completely healed with no scarring.   Ask your vet about quick derm cream which helps wounds heal faster!!    Good luck and dont forget to keep us posted!   Have you been to glidercentral.net??  Tons of info there and lots more people.
