Hi, I am new to the forum, and gliders in general.  I am completely open to any and all advice...and appreciate it!

I have researched gliders for some time now, planning to get a pair in the future.  But an emergency situation developed overnight for an owner and I will be the lucky new adoptive mom of two female joeys in the next few days.  They are said to be 12wks old...I can't get a clear answer if that is from birth date or OOP date.  They are extremely small and were hand fed apparently. (Again, not clear if they were rejected or pulled early or mother died or what).

I need advice on what kind of housing to prepare for them...would they do best in an incubator-type set up or a smaller cage right now vs. a properly sized cage for adults?  How should I set up the interior? (Heat pad? fleece blankies squares or actual pouches? toys for this age? etc.) I DO have some of the needed cage equiptment, plus ingredients and supplements for BML already, but as I was not anticipating getting gliders this soon or this young I'm not sure what else I need right now.

Thanks for any suggestions!

At 12 weeks old they should be fine in a regular cage set up. They should be just like young joeys. No need for heating pad. They should be sleeping in a pouch. Eating (BML)& Drinking water from a water bottle.
