my best advice

whenever someone asks me how to bond with ANY animal, or how to train an animal to do something, I always say you need love to do it. My favorite definition of love is "love is long suffering and kind, is not jealous, does not suffer from pride, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked, does not keep account of the injury, but rejoices with the truth." If you apply all these things, especially the "does not look for its OWN interests" you will succeed. Some animals cannot be trained or bonded (the truth???) or it may take a long time (definite truth), but if you keep love in your heart and do what is best for the glider, and remember where they are coming from and how they feel, you will be able to bond with them. Just be patient. My other best advice is to be CONSISTENT! through consistency they learn what to expect and can begin to trust you.
