Hey there!
I just received my 8 week old suggie, Gizmo, two days ago and I whipped up a Fruit Smoothie, Veggie relish, and modified Julie's BML mix (because it's a bit sweeter); and I find he's a bit picky. I usually set his food out at 9:00 since that's when his breeder fed all of her Sugar Glider's and he seems to just want to be picked up ALL night, he sniffs around his food and licks any solids unless I hand feed it to him. He likes the fruit stuff, doesn't really enjoy the veggie mix and the BML mix.
I've got commercial staple Sugar Glider pellets out for him during the day just in case he wakes up and feels hungry. How can I tell if he's eating enough? He keeps hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and when I set out Ensure (only 2-3 times a week), he drinks ALL of that.
I'm just worried he's not eating enough. AND he doesn't seem to like mealworms, how do I make them more appealing? Maybe it's because he's still young?
Advice?
