Maya,

Oh my gosh! That sounds so cool! How would you pronounce it? Can you spell out each part of the words?
Thanks!!!

Well we pronounce the letters very differently than you... Slovenian language is quite hard compared to English wich is a very soft language. If you want to discus this we can open a topic in the "off topic" forum... Would you like to come to the live chat right now?

SugarShock! wrote:I feed them "Giant Mealworms" and buy them in containers of 100, don't feed them "Super Worms" I've heard horror stories about them, but they may be just that, stories. I wouldn't risk it though.

I've just noticed... I think I feed mine the super worms. Are this super worms: http://www.dragon-seekers.com/images/su ... 2_lubh.jpg

Maya,
Yehp! That's a Super Worm all right. I can't even stand to touch those things, I've also heard a scary story that if not properly digested, they can eat your Glider from the inside out. That could be just a story though, I prefer Giant Mealies over Super! =P

Well I can calm you down about the stories - the glider eat them easily. They grab them and start chewing them in the middle and then eat one half and the other. Mine really don't have any problems with them... just sometimes when they don't hold them tight enough they fall down. These worms are very powerful.

I also feed them the small mealworms - they're like chips or cookies for my gliders. Tongue So what are giant mealies like - a bit smaller than super?

Maya,
Thanks!!! I found a few on my floor after I first tried to feed them to my Gliders, that was gross in itself. That's what I was thinking. I think of the smaller mealworms as Glider Cookies =P Yes, Giant Mealworms are smack dab between Regular and Super!

I've never heard of feeding Gliders snails, silk worms or caterpillars. The pellets from www.thepetglider.com are THE ONLY pellets I would EVER recommend if you absolutely must feed pelleted food. I would never suggest feeding a pelleted diet, however. Stick to the proven diets, such as The Priscilla Price Diet, BML or HPW. Oh, and don't vary them, it mixes up the ratios!

I love Lisa (the owner of that site), she is very kind and has helped me out a lot over the years. She seems very knowledgeable regarding her Gliders and really does care about them. Although a lot of people would disagree and say that they don't like her business, I personally have found her to be very helpful!!! I have my own preferred breeder though, Priscilla Price is one of the only people I'd ever purchase a Glider from. When hers arrive, they are so sweet. My biggest baby, my mama's boy, came from her, he's the one pictured in my display picture, my Scooter! =P
