I feed my kids the HPW diet. I order the High-Protein Wombaroo mix and the Bee Pollen online. The rest of ingredients are just eggs and honey. In the morning, their HPW dish is licked clean.
2 C hot water
1/2 C honey
1/4 C High Protein Wombaroo mix
Mix well
2 T. Bee Pollen
3 Hardboiled Eggs
1/2 C Water/Honey/HPW mix
Mix til smooth
Add the rest of the Water/Honey/HPW and mix well. Pour equally into 4 containers. Leave one container in the refrigerator and freeze the other 3. Each glider gets 1/2 Tablespoon each night with 1/2 Tablespoon of chopped fruits and 1/2 Tablespoon chopped veggies.

Donnarae - with HPW, each glider is supposed to get 1 full Tablespoon of fruit and 1 full Tablespoon of veggies each night. Not sure if that was just a typo or if you are really underfeeding them, but for them to get the proper amount of food/calories/minerals/vitamins (not just a balanced ratio, but the correct AMOUNT), they should always receive 1 full Tablespoon of both fruits and veggies each night.

I don't know about underfeeding, but their HPW bowl is licked clean and the veggies and fruits are about half eaten. ?? I had 6 gliders in one cage and 2 in another. It is hard to tell who is eating what and how much. I tried the 1 T of fruits and veggies per glider and there was too much left over the next morning. With 6 gliders, that would be 6 tablespoons of chopped fruits and veggies??? They'd have a great food-fight. If they are not going to eat it, I'm not going to waste it. As long as there are left-overs, I'm happy.

Mine dont get a full tablespoon each either. But then again, one persons measurement of a tablespoon could be different than anothers. I know my tablespoons are overflowing. So my cages of 3 gliders get 2 HEAPING tablespoons and my cage of 5 gets 3 1/2. If that makes any sense.
So maybe mine are getting a full tablespoon per glider? LOL

I tried to put all of the HPW in the freezer and scoop out what I needed (like Ice-Cream....NO!) It froze solid and was a real bear to chip out a chunk. If you could fill ice-cube trays with the 1 T it might work better. Otherwise, I fill plastic water containers about half-way and keep frozen what I'm not using. My container lasts about a week. I was on BML diet but had a lot of trouble getting my gliders to eat it. My one female lost 10% of her body weight so I tried the HPW. They liked it better. ?? I'd say either one was a good diet and really easy, no muss, no fuss.
